Write about a time you felt connected to nature, like the kinship in Native American myths.

Prompt: Write about a time you felt connected to nature, like the kinship in Native American myths.

Prompt Response: I feel connected to nature when I go fishing. When going fishing, it flushes out my mind, and it's just me and nature. The feeling helps me stay grounded and makes me feel like I'm one with my environment around me. What I enjoy most about fishing is when you first hook into the fish and the rush of adrenaline that flows through your body. Specifically, when I hooked into a shark in Hilton Head. That specific moment made me feel the most connected to nature in my lifetime.

Summary: To briefly summarize what we did today, I'd say we were introduced to American Literature. Starting from the origin of American Literature, which stemmed from the Native Americans. We also spoke about Myths, religion, and Urban Legends. Lastly, we talked about our Vocabulary.

Reflection:  I learned the differences between myths, religion, and Urban Myths. I also learned the characteristics of each.
