Prompt: In 2–3 well-developed sentences, reflect on how you spent your Holiday Break. Then, identify four personal you would like to achieve this year and briefly explain why each goal is important to you

Prompt Response: I spent my holiday break enjoying valuable time with my family members and friends. I also spent a lot of time catching up on sleep and playing video games with friends.

 1. The first goal I want to achieve this year is to break 80 in golf. This goal is important because it will build confidence in my golf game and show how hard work pays off. To accomplish this goal, I will go to the range at least three times a week. I will also play rounds over the weekend and track my scores to see improvement until I reach my target score. My goal is to reach this score by the end of the year, as I feel it's very achievable but will also take a lot of time.

2. The second goal I want to achieve this year would be to complete the school year with straight A´s. This goal is important because it will help me boost my GPA and help me get into college. To accomplish this goal, I will work very hard to complete all my classwork assignments and make sure that I continue the learning from the classroom to home. My goal is to achieve straight A´s by the end of the school year.

3. My third goal is to drink more water. This goal is important because it will help boost my health and help me stay hydrated during the day. To accomplish this goal, I will bring a water bottle to school every day so I can make sure that I am drinking a good amount of water every day. I want to achieve this goal by the end of the school year.

4. My final goal is to get abs. This goal is important because it will improve my health and will help me build a stronger core. To accomplish this goal, I will do crunches and other abdominal exercises to help build a six-pack. My goal is to achieve my objective before summer.

Summary: In class today we went over expectations for this semester and worked on our new years resolutions.

Reflection: I learned how I can plan my New Year's resolutions so that they come true.
